Our Team

The Management Team consists of Kay Webber and Rachel Robinson.

Kay has worked at ActionPak since it began in 1992. Many of the children who have attended Acorns in the past will recognise Kay as our Early Years Teacher as she is peripatetic throughout our nurseries. Kay is a qualified First Aider and is based on site at Whitchurch High School for the duration of the playscheme.

Rachel has been employed by Acorns for 8 years and worked at ActionPak before transferring to Bristol as Manager of Acorns Henbury. Rachel returned to Cardiff in 2011 following the birth of her daughter and is looking forward to working alongside Kay in 2012.

All staff comply with CSSIW guidelines and are CRB checked and registered, they are carefully selected and provide both professional and personal references. Several members of staff are Welsh speaking.

To ensure continuity for the children staff remain within their allocated groups for the duration of the playscheme and participate in activities to encourage the children and make sure each event is fun. Specialist Instructors are also employed for coaching specific activities.
